This is a perfect getway for anyone who loves to mix up walking thru cities and earning those carbs, with a few days of relaxing at the end, get those carbs down you.
I've also ditched the planes here, we're flying to Barcelona and flying home from Malaga but other than that its trains and buses. Cheaper, less polluting but also you get to see the beautiful scenery of Spain change from the northern greenery to the arid rocky mountainous south, it's well worth it.
The cities speak for themselves but have each their own charm. Barcelona is as cosmo as it gets but has a stunning beach, Madrid the capital, full of amazing history. You have to visit the royal armoury in the royal palace. Seville is known as the most beautiful city in Andalucia with its Arabic influences and it's oranges. Then finishing off in Marbella, such a fun town with plenty to do and see, rent yourself a porsche if you want and spin around Puerto Banus or just laugh at the people doing that.. :-)
Accommodation is Airbnb private rooms for your walky city breaks and a stunning hotel with pool & balcony for your relaxation days. Each of the rooms are super central, very highly rated and super cheap. The hotel was a great find, almost £100 cheaper going direct to the hotel (always google a hotel name you see on booking.com).
Spain in Spring, you should have wonderful weather, less crowds than the Summer and using the trains and buses you'll see so much of the country.
